The below autobiography will tell my life story in three books.

Book 1, Three Stages covers the first 37 years of my life from my childhood in small town Tennessee, through Hollywood to New York, until I retired from the stage.
Book 2, Circumstances Beyond My Control  will chronicle my years and many adventures as a producer and Assistant Director in film from 1972 until the ‘90s.

Book 3, as yet untitled, is still a mystery. Stay tuned.

Here's some of what is being said about the book:

“I love this! It's wonderful,
dear, funny... I want my
kids to read it!”
Beth
Howard, Dancer

“Thoroughly enjoying your book,
and it feels like you’re sitting next
to me, telling tales from your life.
... I’m sad to be reaching the end of
the book. Get cracking on #2!”

Robert Marks, Musician

The other pages of the site will give you an idea of what I do, what my background and training have been and what some of my clients have had to say about me and my work. It will also provide links to some sample videos, where you can see and hear what a Ben Bryant production is like.

As you might expect, every client is unique and every project is different.  So variety best describes the projects I work with, the approaches I take with clients, and the techniques I use.  As the sample videos suggest, my work is pretty eclectic: it has over the years included such disparate projects as live concerts, inspirational videos, photomontage art presentations, TV spots, and even a few family video editing jobs.  Despite the interesting and exciting variety of subject matter, the essentials of video production are constant.  Everything starts in the camera; the resultant imagery then goes into the computer, where it is technically enhanced, altered, manipulated, and massaged in any number of ways; finally, it ends up on tape, DVD, or the web.  Camera, computer, medium: they are the three working environments of a video's life, the constants that permit the limitless variety of the video world.

Technical skills are of course paramount; but people skills are as well. No client is more valuable than another, and no project more important; all deserve to receive personal, customized, attention. I believe this is where my strength lies: each project I take on becomes my project. When you hire Ben Bryant Video you get the full attention of Ben Bryant. So if personal commitment and dedicated service are what you want, I may be your man.

Take a look around.  If you like what you see, and if you have a video project in mind, then send me an e-mail and let's talk about it. And thanks for stopping by.
